Review of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Let's talk about Legend of Zelda some more, shall we?

Firstly, this game is great. The game-play is just phenomenal. You start out in this cool and beautiful world where there are knights and a princess, (Spoiler? Nah.) it's just cool! You feel like a knight and you talk in a weird, manly voice and say things like "Rah Rah, Excelsior!" and stuff like that. It's fun.

Swords & Controlling

The controls are quite easy, I've talking to younger kinds (Ages eight-eleven) and not only do they love the game itself, they love the fact they can swing around their Wii remote and actually do something other then hit someone in the head. They can swing at enemies not only one way but many. Up and down, left and right, vertices and tons of other cool things. Including the Sky Attack, that's when you lift the remote (Ready...) SKYWARD, and it powers up for a nice hit. Awesomeness, right?

The problem...?

You need Wii Motion Plus, which isn't a big deal, it just gets sorta difficult at times. When you have three guys coming at you and all you're trying to do is just hit them, the sword freaks out and it's like "HEY, just hit them!" when Link is just flailing around. But if you have patience and can stay focused when being attacked and can preform with ease, no worries! If you're like me and you freak out when being attacked . . . Well, still give the game a shot. It's worth that stress. SMILE.

Favorite Extra's

Okay, most of you have probably seen these birds. They. Are. Awesome. Really. One of my favorite things in the game. I named mine Waka Waka (Even though you can't really name them...) and lucky for you, Link get's the coolest and best bird! It's not hard to fly once you get used to it, and even then sometimes you get stuck way up high or way down low, but hey it's pretty fun anyways.

Unfortunately, you can only fly in the Sky Realm. Sigh. Oh well, it's good and fun! I like to take a break from  one of the other worlds and just go fly around. It's peaceful, you know.

A Little Help Goes A Long Way

Throughout the game you have this girl (...I think...) following you around, and guess what, she has hints! That's the only reason I keep her around. Because sometimes she gets annoying. Like... Really annoying. Luckily if you hold the A button down, you speed up her talking! Hurrah! Rah rah excelsior!

Closings

I think I've babbled enough for one post. Congratulations, you made it through that alive! Seriously though, get this game. Okay?

My job here is done!
